MAY 15 - Blondie Cupcakes LINKS

Hello Cupcake Bakers!  As you can see we are still plugging along in this book and only have about a dozen recipes left!  This has been such a fun experience for me as a novice baker, learning new techniques and getting out of my recipe comfort zone!

This month, we are baking Blondie Cupcakes found on pages 100-101.  These are a great everyday cupcake and are easily transportable.  I made a batch for my birthday.  You can see them HERE!

FEBRUARY 15 - Strawberry Cupcakes LINKS!

You can really taste the fresh strawberries in these delicious Strawberry Cupcakes!  Serve them unfrosted and they qualify as breakfast food.  At least mine did!

February and March Baking Assignments

Hello?  Hello? Anybody there?  If anyone is up for baking, here's what's going down in the next couple of months:

FEBRUARY 15 - STRAWBERRY CUPCAKES p. 146.  I thought that these pink and red cupcakes would be perfect for Valentine's Day!

MARCH 15 - STOUT CUPCAKES p. 78-79.  What could say St. Patrick's Day more than a cupcake made with beer?

We've made a pretty big dent in the recipes in Martha's amazing Cupcake book and I'm going to just keep on baking!  I've learned a thing or two from every recipe.  I hope you will continue to bake along with me!  See you on the 15th!
